Several advanced settings can be accessed from the Turnitin platform rather than from Aula.

Here's how to access the Optional Settings:
- Go to your Space and open the Assignments tile.
- Select the Turnitin assignment you want to edit. You will be taken to the Submission List page.
- Click Open in Turnitin (this will take you to Turnitin).
- Click the Settings icon.
- Open Optional Settings to reveal advanced options.
- Make the necessary changes and click Submit to save them.

Note
You can update the Generate Similarity Reports setting (either immediately or on the due date) even after students have submitted their work. Changing this setting will not affect any existing submissions. All submitted files will remain unchanged.
