Turnitin: Allow Late Submissions

This article will guide you on how to enable late submissions for students on Turnitin.

Allow Late Submissions in Turnitin

1. Navigate to your Space and click on the Assignments tile.
2. Click the Turnitin assignment you want to edit. 
3. In the top right corner of the Submissions List, select Open in Turnitin. 
4. You'll be taken to Turnitin's Assignment Inbox. Click on the Settings icon (top right).
5. Select Optional Settings and tick Allow Late Submissions.
6. Click Submit to save changes.

Note

• Turnitin assignments can be set to Allow late submissions after students start submitting, and even after the assignment closes.
• Students will only be able to submit to Turnitin past the due date if they haven't yet submitted. This is even if the assignment allows resubmissions.

 

View Late Submissions

To view late submissions, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to your Space and click on the Assignments tile.
2. Click on the assignment you are working on.
3. You will be taken to the Submissions List, where you can find the list of late submissions.
