Students need a clear way to track their progress as they work through materials and the tasks within them. Educators also benefit from visibility into how students are progressing through the learning journey.
To support this, we introduced the Mark as complete button on all Material pages, so students can easily see what they’ve finished and what’s next.
Overview
The Progress Overview helps students track what they’ve completed across their materials and tasks, and see what (and how much) is still left to finish.
When viewing Materials, click the View progress overview button at the top to view the list of sections and pages, and whether each one is complete or not complete.
This is what your progress tracker looks like:
Mark/Unmark Pages as Complete
After you’ve gone through the content on a material page, you can mark it as complete:
Go to your Space and click the Materials tile.
Open the page you’ve completed.
Click Mark as complete in the top-right corner. The button will change to a green Step complete.
If you marked a page as complete by mistake, or want to revisit it later, click the green Step complete button again to unmark it.
FAQs
Q1: What happens when educators release new Material pages?
New materials will appear as not completed. If a section previously showed a green tick and your tutor adds new content to that section, the tick will disappear until you complete the new material. Once you mark the new content as complete, the green tick will appear again.
Q2: Can I view my classmates' progress? Can I view my progress on spaces I'm not enroled in?
No to both. You can only view your own progress, not anyone else’s. You can also only view your progress in spaces you’re currently enrolled in. If you’re removed from a space, you can no longer access your progress for it.
