Educators can use templates to create posts in both Announcements and the Common Room. Templates make it easier to publish consistent, engaging posts that encourage learner participation.
Overview
Set Up Post Templates
1. Click the + icon in the text editor within Announcements or Common Room.
2. Click on Templates in the drop-down menu.
3. Select the template you'd like to use in the left-hand list. Once you click on a template title, a preview will display next to it.
4. Click on the Add to post button at the bottom.
5. Edit the template however you like.
6. Click on either Post if you'd like to post it immediately, or the clock icon to schedule it to a future date.
Note
- Only Educators can add templates.
- Templates cannot be used in comments, Materials or Messages.
