This article covers the following:
π What learning management systems integrate with Aula?
Once the Aula <> LMS integration is complete, instructors will be able to add the Aula app into their respective courses, making them instantly available for students. Neither instructors nor students will need to create accounts in Aula since these will be created through the LMS. Additionally, Aula will create the "space" automatically for educators and students alike.
Aula integrates with all major Learning Management Systems available on the market.

π Looking for your shared key?
To enable the Aula App onto your course you will need a Shared Key generated by your Learning Management System. There are two ways to retrieve this key.
1. Contact your system administrator
Your system administrator will be able to share the Shared Key with you. Due to their administrative privileges, they are able to see all the Shared Keys for all of the integrations you will have with your LMS.
2. Contact us
We also know what your Shared Key is! Send us a quick message and we'll get back to you with your Shared Key.
π‘ LTI 1.3 vs LTI 1.1
The new core LTI version 1.3 and a package of high-value services align LTI with industry-best security and provides a clear path forward for existing services and new services to pursue the rich integration available between learning platforms and tools. Here is a quick look at what's new in LTI 1.3:
- Introduction of the IMS Security Framework specification prescribing improved security based on OAuth2 and JSON Web Tokens
- Improved documentation and migration guidance to help move the market from the benefits of basic launch to the full suite of LTI possibilities
- Alignment with the LTI Advantage set of services that enable a fully integrated and innovative digital ecosystem
