Quiz: Submit an Assignment

This article will guide you on how to submit your quiz.

Submit a Quiz Assignment

  1. Click on Journey > Assignments.
  2. Once here, you will see all the assignments on your module, ordered by their due date. The icons to the left of each assignment indicate if the assignment is set up with Quiz, Turnitin, or Handin. Screenshot_2023-03-13_at_08.52.31.png represents a Quiz.

3. Click on the Quiz assignment to start your activity 

4. Click Start to begin the quiz assignment. You will then be able to complete the quiz assignment by navigating between Item groups.

5. Click on the Item list or use the Next button in the lower-left of the assignment.

6. Once you get to the last question, you'll see a Review button on the lower-left of the assignment. Click on Review to continue with submission. 

7. Select any questions you'd like to review. If there are none to review, click on Finish.

8. Click on Yes to confirm that you're okay with submitting the assignment. This step will save your answers. 

9. To finally submit your assignment, click on Submit.

Once you are done with your Quiz, your assignment will now have a "Submitted" label on it.

Submit a Quiz Assignment When Time Has Expired

If your Educator has selected the "Force submit after time expires" option for the quiz and you haven't submitted your assignment before the deadline, you'll see the following box:

You must still click on Yes and then Submit for your assignment to be submitted. 

 

Note

  • Even if you save your answers, the quiz won't get submitted unless you hit the 'Submit' button
  • If a quiz assignment has a Past due date label, it means that you can still submit your quiz assignment even though the deadline has passed.

  • If you have any trouble or issues when submitting your assignment, please take a screenshot of your issue and contact your educator. Aula Support is unable to identify if you attempted a submission or not.
  • You are unable to submit an assignment when using the mobile app.
  • You cannot retake the same Quiz assignment. For retakes, please reach out to your educator who will provide you with details on the Retakes Quiz assignment.
