You can add inline emoji to any piece of text in Aula: materials, posts, messages, replies, assignment descriptions, feedback etc. The exact instructions depend on the Operating System that you're using, and you'll find them below.
Mac OS
1. Go to any text field and press the following keys at the same time:
- Control ^
- Command ⌘
- Space
2. The emoji picker will appear. Click on any emoji to insert it at the location of your cursor.
Windows
1. Go to any text field and press the following keys at the same time:
- Windows key
- Full stop (.) or semicolon (;).
2. The emoji picker will appear. Click any emoji to insert it at the location of your cursor.
Note
There is a known issue when the emoji panel would not surface in any applications on Windows machines. To fix it, you can find instructions here.
