Everything related to assessment in Aula can be accessed via Journey > Assignments
The Assignments Page
The assignments page is where assignments are accessed, created and edited.
- Regardless of the tool used to create an assignment, it will always appear in the assignments list.
- Educators can view all assignments in the list, whereas students will only see assignments that have explicitly been made visible to students by educators.
Tools within the Aula assessments ecosystem:
-
Turnitin is an external assessment tool with which Aula integrates.
-
Handin is Aula’s own assessment tool. It is a separate app that strongly interacts with Aula.
-
The Student Success App is Aula's equivalent of a grade-book, displaying grades for all students in a space and enabling export to student record systems.
Assignment Blocks
- An 'assignment block' (i.e. a link to the assignment) can be added to any relevant location in Materials or to a feed post in the Community.
