Talis has support for the LTI 1.3 standard, allowing it to integrate with platforms that implement LTI such as Aula. This article is intended as a companion to the general guide for configuring LTI integrations. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article.
Configuration
- Navigate to the Aula Admin Dashboard. The URL for this is https://admin.{your-institution}.aula.education
- In the Admin Dashboard, open the menu at the top right of the screen and select Integrations
- Once the page loads, click the Add Integration button to open the Add Integration Modal
- Complete the fields as follows:
- LTI version: 1.3
- Target URL: https://rl.talis.com/lti/1p3/launch. You will need to confirm the value with your Talis representative
- Login URL: https://rl.talis.com/lti/1p3/oidc_login . You will need to confirm the value with your Talis representative
- Keyset URL: https://rl.talis.com/lti/1p3/jwks . You will need to confirm the value with your Talis representative
- Redirect URL: https://rl.talis.com/lti/1p3/launch. You will need to confirm the value with your Talis representative
- Redirect URL: https://rl.talis.com/lti/1p3/deep_link_request.You will need to confirm the value with your Talis representative

Appearance
Complete the fields as follows and then click the Next button:
- Name: Talis
- Icon URL: https://elevate.talis.com/ico/default/favicon-32x32.png
- Enable the Enable deep linking toggle (on)
- Disable the Can retrieve participants of the space toggle (off)
Talis' Availability in Aula
- Select the Materials option
- Click Save
Usage
Once the integration has been configured, educators should be able to access it:
- Head to the Editor in Aula (in the Community Feed or Materials)
- Click on the + icon
- In the menu, head to Integrations and click on the one you would like to add
- A block will appear reflecting the name and icon set in the integration configuration
- Once a block has been created, clicking on it will launch it
