Engageli has support for the LTI 1.3 standard, allowing it to integrate with platforms that implement LTI such as Aula. This article is intended as a companion to the general guide for configuring LTI integrations. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article.
Configuration
- Navigate to the Aula Admin Dashboard. The URL for this is https://admin.{your-institution}.aula.education
- In the Admin Dashboard, open the menu at the top right of the screen and select Integrations
- Once the page loads, click the Add Integration button to open the Add Integration Modal
- Complete the fields as follows:
- LTI version: 1.3
- Target URL: https://{your-institution}.engageli.com/api/{your-institution}/lti/selector. You will need to confirm the value with your Engageli representative
- Login URL: https://{your-institution}.engageli.com/api/{your-institution}/lti/auth. You will need to confirm the value with your Engageli representative
- Keyset URL: https://{your-institution}.engageli.com/api/{your-institution}/lti/keys. You will need to confirm the value with your Engageli representative

Custom Parameters
- Click on the + Add custom parameter button
- Head to Engageli's documentation on LTI support to find the necessary information
- Click on the Next button
Appearance
Complete the fields as follows and then click the Next button:
- Name: Engageli
- Icon URL: https://www.engageli.com/hubfs/logomark_512_trans.png
- Enable the Enable deep linking toggle (on)
- Disable the Can retrieve participants of the space toggle (off)
- Disable integration: We recommend disabling the integration (toggle on) until the configuration has been completed in Engageli. Once this is done, you can make the integration available (toggle off)
Engageli's Availability in Aula
- Select the Materials option
- Click Save
Usage
Once the integration has been configured, educators should be able to access it:
- Head to the Editor in Aula (in the Community Feed or Materials)
- Click on the + icon
- In the menu, head to Integrations and click on the one you would like to add
- A block will appear reflecting the name and icon set in the integration configuration
- Once a block has been created, clicking on it will launch it
